As Sr. Designer of the Howard Company, I consult both large chains and independent restaurants the best practice of displaying their current menu content on a digital menu. For the large chain examples (Del Taco and Smalls Slider) — I was provided content already designed by their internal team and reformatted the layout to show case all the additional options they can use when converting to the digital content software. Crimson Cup and Cafe Diem, I was provided content only and designed their menu based off of their website and branding elements they used in their marketing. These examples, I explain the benefits of digital vs printed (static) graphics.
