As marketing manager of Cedar Crest Ice Cream, I develop and integrate marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and growth across all channels: website, email, social media, news articles, radio, podcast and TV. I handle B2B / B2C communication about our products, manage website, ingredient updates, sales materials, create and execute campaigns, cross-promote with our sponsored partners and assist with flavor development. I also streamline branding, graphically design consistent packaging, renderings and create engaging social media content marketing campaigns (photography / videography filming & editing) with SEO's targeting our ideal demographics.
I enjoy working at Cedar Crest, and I would love to do all the same things as A Full Time Employee at a motivating company with a positive environment to grow! I'm back on the quest for a new role. I would love to continue my career path in marketing and ideally for outdoor related industries because nature and being among it, is one of my strongest passions.
In addition to my bachelors in communication design and a minor in advertising, I also enjoy other aspects of the artistic world such as photographing, photo retouching, drawing, painting and crafting. In my spare time I write and self-publish my own fantasy books.
My other hobbies include fun outdoor activities such as hiking at state & national parks, learning about nature and unique species, camping, kayaking, swimming and basking in the sun. I also enjoy jumping in colored leaves and sledding down snow covered hills.
What would I like to do
I enjoy the marketing/advertising aspects of my career, and would like to continue to create and manage promotional prints, digital marketing media, advertisements, booth design, and website. I’m a multitasker who always accomplish projects and goals when provided reasonable deadlines.
If I could combine my hobbies with work — I would. I’m passionate about outdoor activities where I can spend time with nature, I used to play the electric bass guitar with a few friends and performed at low key venues in Milwaukee, and as I stated above — I love cooking. Cooking for me has always been about quality of taste and using fresh ingredients.
My work ethics
I’m a puzzle solver = I’m a problem solver. Whenever there’s a challange, I am a positive bubble of “How can I solve this?” because complaining about what’s not working does not solve anything. I manage myself well and ask very specific questions to determine what it is that I need to do, and how to priorities my workload to achieve deadlines. I don’t mind personal life conversations at the office once it a while — but based on circumstances of meetings and deadlines, I prefer to keep these interactions short and jump to the task at hand.
